So sorry I lost the photos...

So here is round two for my book. I don't have a lot of explanation other than it is done in thread. I like that it is very clearly different from earlier entries. I am hoping to free you up to move away from representational drawings and get a little wild and crazy. Please also feel free to interpret the theme loosely  or completely ignore it.
I attached an old bit of machine embroidery to the front on my book.

  2. Congratulations, a lovely idea and subtly in keeping with your theme, even though so very different in medium and approach!
    A challenge indeed :)

  3. Katie's book with the beautiful embroidery has arrived! These threads continue the theme perfectly.
What a good idea to change from representational pages. I'm looking forward to this challenge and am thinking along the lines of some printmaking.

  4. Thanks Rosie. I'm glad you like it. I was a bit worried that the transition was a bit abrupt. I really did want to shake things up though. I am so excited to see what you do next.

  5. This looks awesome!!! It's such a bright and wonderful to touch book now! Love it, love to touch it when drawing. Katie I've made such a fun, festive splash. By the the way I had never seen such a technique in real, so happy to observe your textile work.
