Katie's book is ready to go!

This shows part of Katie's first drawing plus my contribution to the book.

  1. There is so much I like about this drawing. The deeply undulating line created by the trees branches. The hole in the ancient willow allowing me to see right through it. I also like the shape between the trees which to me mimics the hole in the tree and draws me in to see the living tree in the distance.

  2. This is going to be an absolutely outstanding book! The second drawing is so very good, both are gorgeously well together. Wow. Feel afraid to draw there... Can't wait to see it in reality.

  3. Katie's book is on its way now to Masha!
I was sad to see it go. It had become a friend, but very much looking forward to Marcia's and the next stage in the journey!
Have been thinking about 'Collections' and a few things are saying 'draw me'!

  6. I have been away for a while, but now plan to be working on our exchange.
I feel a little concerned that Katie's book, which I posted on 4th. April, has not arived yet but guess I must be patient :)

  7. Rosie how long did it take for your book to get to Masha? I sure hope it's not lost!

  8. Katie, I don't remember how long it took to get to Masha, but think not as long as this so I am concerned.
I sent it by the same 'Internationally Signed For' scheme as before.

  9. I have finished my contribution for 'Collections' (I think), but feel that I shouldn't send it on just yet till we know that Katie's book is safely arrived with Masha.
    What do you all think?

  10. It's here, ladies! Happy, happy :)
Let me check the date on a envelope... It came to our post office April 18. It means it tooks two weeks for the final movement (postman to deliver a notification about the parcel).
But look, it still works :))) Hurray!
I'm very excited, it's so gorgeous! Would write a post with details tomorrow.
    Thank you Rosie!

  15. Thank you Rosie! :))) This parcel of yours was a bit bigger in size, so maybe it was the cause of a bit longer delivery (don't ask for logic, it's Russia ;)
